On Saturday Oct. 6 from 5 pm – midnight, Pizzanista hosted Our Open Road‘s Guest Chef Night & Fundraiser!!
Proceeds from this evening went to support the Harteau family’s epic year-long adventure, driving their VW Westfalia from Los Angeles to the southern-most tip of South America, and back. You can track their fantastic and inspiring voyage here.
Adam designed and printed a custom pizza box for the event (see below), and Emily created two amazing pizza specials: an Argentine-inspired chimmichurri pizza with gaucho skirt steak, mushrooms, kalamata olives & zucchini, and a fig pizza with homemade fig jam, manchego cheese & fresh arugula.
Awesome prizes from GoWesty, Comune, Foam E-Z, Poler, Shreddy Cruiser and artwork by Adam Harteau were raffled off, delicious pizzas were devoured and a good time was had by all! Thanks to Gromz LA for the pics and t-shirts.
